A single villa shade for one or two cars costs far less per project, but often more per car, than a 50-space commercial installation, because the steel and fabric are bought and fabricated in bulk.

- Metal sheet or sandwich panel: solid roof, good for long-term commercial parking and where solar panels may be added later.
3. Steel Size and Coating
Spans and wind loads decide the steel sections. Hot-dip galvanising or a proper epoxy and polyurethane paint system costs more up front but prevents rust, especially near the coast. Cheap quotes often save money here.
4. Foundations
Posts sit on concrete footings sized for wind uplift. Breaking and repairing existing interlock or asphalt adds cost. Ask whether the quote includes civil work.
5. Size and Access
More bays lower the price per car. Tight villa driveways, basements or restricted access can increase installation time.
