How a Double Storey Cabin Is Built

1. Design and structural calculation: the frame, floor and connections are designed for the upper floor, staircase and wind loads.
2. Foundation: concrete strip footings or pads sized for the building.
3. Ground floor modules or frame: installed, levelled and fixed.
4. Upper floor: lifted by crane and bolted to the lower structure.
5. Staircases, corridors and canopies: steel stairs with handrails, walkways and shade.
6. MEP and fit-out: electrical, AC, plumbing, fire alarm, finishes and furniture.
