GRP tanks are built from standard panels, usually 1m × 1m and 1m × 0.5m. So a tank is sized in whole or half metres, and its capacity follows from its length × width × height.
In the UAE, capacity is usually quoted in imperial gallons. One cubic metre holds 1,000 litres, which is about 220 imperial gallons.
